I live in Portland, with my three kids.
I work, and look out the window at the river and wonder…where it is all going? Kind of feel like Bill Murray, in Lost in Translation, right here in old Portland. I think writing will help. I remember a life before adulthood, and I’m interested in rekindling the spirit of that time. Or perhaps blend it into the practical realities of my daily grind. I am not sure what will happen. It is a hazy time.
I love my family, enjoy a good pint, and am glad to live in the Pacific Northwest. Mostly, I want to find an old cabin and go disappear there, with the family, and have adventures. I’m ready for some new adventures…
Time it was, and what a time it was, it was
A time of innocence, a time of confidences
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph
Preserve your memories, they’re all that’s left you

the kids…yes, i remeber the two of you running like this too in the plaza before, during and after finals!
