Kids sitting here watching cartoons while I clean the kitchen then sit down for a cup of coffee.  Cartoons are terrible these days.  What ever happened to Looney Tunes and the Flintstones?  Such a different world.  I remember leaving the house when I was as young as 9 or 10 years old.  Roaming the neighborhood looking for adventures.  There is no way in hell I’d let my kids do that now.  To be gone for hours and not know where they exactly are?  What a different time.  Different world.  A lot less vodka needed, as a parent, back in those simple days.
